DESCRIPTION:
The
Bomb is made assembling a tear drop shaped cast iron body
with a thin steel sheet fin assembly. A hollow round cavity
is provided length-wise through the centre of body. A conical
fin assy having a tube in the centre is roll-crimped into
two grooves in the aft end of bomb body. A single lug is
positioned just forward of the centre of gravity of the
bomb. The firing pin assembly is sub component of the bomb
and is positioned in the nose end of the bore of the body
and secured in place by retaining pin.
